Yo peeps! I'm on the look out for a new #groovebox. I currently have a #Novation #CircuitTracks but I find the sample manipulation and sequencing too limiting. I did buy an #Elektron #Syntakt but that doesn't do samples and I don't think my brain works the Elektron way.

Yesterday I made such awesome¹ music learning to use the #Syntakt that my poor Ripcord USB power adapter could stand it no more and just melted².

@drh #Syntakt is a great device. It's really fun to use, and you can multi-track capture it to your DAW with #Overbridge (works fine). Personally, I just have so much fun using 'ctrl all' live to tweak the synth params and then resetting everything with the reload command.

I’m in the market for an #analog #drumMachine although something which can also be the brains of my live setup would be great too. I currently have a #Novation #CircuitTracks but am feeling the limitations now. At this stage the top of my list is the #Elektron #Syntakt. It’s in my price bracket, got analog drums, as well as synths and can also be used to control external gear.
