  2. For @sariash's #SymphonicMonday, an album from a band who sound "as if Alestorm had a baby with Fleshgod Apocalypse and Symphony X":

Sorry but not sorry for posting whole albums recently.

  3. Symphonic Monday

Here's David Briggs playing his transcription for organ of one of Mahler's slow movements (symphony #4 in this case)
Note that there is a spoken introduction; the music begins at about 6m40s

  4. For #SymphonicMonday by @sariash , one of the most over-the-top symphonic metal bands I ever listened to.

Bal-Sagoth really know how to deliver epic, powerful tunes with their melodic black metal drenched with power metal and aggressive, soaring symphonies.

  5. This is an entry for #SymphonicMonday . hosted by @sariash .

The new Fleshgod Apocalypse album is marvelous. The symphonic parts are not only from orchestra and the female vocals, but also cited by guitars too.

And this track is an egregious example.

  6. Oh, I have something for #SymphonicMonday too.

A track from Mechina. They don't need presentation, I posted stuff from them in the past.

For those who don't know them: they mix surgical Fear Factory-esque industrial metal, bombastic symphonies, djent-y sprinkles here and there and an absolutely over-the-top cinematic taste for space battles. They don't have a single concept album, but their entire discography is a massive one.

I suggest you to recover the albums "Progenitor" (for me, their masterpiece) and "Xenon" (an absolute rough gem), where this track is from.

  7. I don't think I've ever participated in #SymphonicMonday so hopefully this fits

Fallout, the latest single from PIG's upcoming EP, with a decent amount of violin and piano.

Amusingly I don't have any signed kpop photocards, but I sure do have multiple from this 63 year old industrial rocker, which I never expected.

  8. Hello, people!

This is for both #BlackMetalMonday and a bit of #SymphonicMonday .

A track from Old Man's Child, a creature by Galder, ex-Dimmu Borgir.

The influence is blatant, although the good Galder puts his mark.

  9. For this #BlackMetalMonday and #SymphonicMonday , let's go classic.

Dimmu Borgir are always a certainty when looking for black metal blended with symphonic music.

This is from "Spiritual Black Dimensions".

  10. For @sariash's #SymphonicMonday, how about an 11 minute long proggy instrumental? (It gets more and more symphonic as it goes along)
