Just read that news.com.au piece warning that tweaking the CGT discount will "deepen the rent crisis".
Classic property industry spin. Same old ecosystem (news.com.au = realestate.com.au) pumping out scare stories based on modelling from a property analytics firm, with zero pushback or independent voices.
It's not total bullshit, but it's very selective and alarmist, basically a warning shot for investors.
