It's getting competitive. ThamesWater 'own' the roadworks at the Crystal Palace Park Road end. How many times has that been closed in the last couple of years? But no this time. SGN the gas network company have closed the Westwood Hill end plus, as a bonus, northbound Westwood Hill. You can still get down the hill to the Kirkdale Roundabout. The guy in charge hopes it will be sorted by the end of the week. But it's a patch not a replacement so they anticipate it won't be the last time. The […] -

We thought 25th anniversary should bring something new. Hence Sydenham.info became se26 launched as a new domain se26.org.uk on November 14th. It’s being built (and occasionally re-built) page by page.
It’s designed to have a plain minimalists style in contrast with many heavy designs that tire the eye and obscure the information they carry.

It's a warm day, relatively speaking, so for #TodaysWalk I wandered vaguely, looking for signs of spring beyond the usual explosion of bin-flies and the aroma of awakening drains.
Somewhere in #Sydenham a woodpecker rattled, but only once or twice, while on the borders of Dulwich a mimosa was blossoming and a pair of parakeets chewed over a property, presumably with an eye to moving in.
