You can now officially call me a #swordLesbian:
I’m a lesbian and my longsword finally arrived. And unlike my previous one, this one is actually sharp and pointy. Put differently: It is in every single sense of the word a real sword!
So real in fact, that my left index-finger can attest to its ability to draw blood (I got myself a minor cut when unpacking, nothing bad, I just had to put a bandaid on).
I still need to do some test-cuts (as well as figure out a good transport container, because the scabbard for my blunt longsword is definitely too short), but I can already say with confidence that I do not want to be on the receiving end of it. 😊
Context for those who haven’t seen it, this is essentially the gift that I got for my #PhD (I ordered it myself, but I payed for it with the money from my colleagues and parents). -
