1st of August is Swiss National Day. During public holidays I'm forbidden to use the washing machine, because it would make too much noise. But(!) it's completely fine for random people and(!) the city to organise fireworks. 🤔🤷♂️
Sohn, Mann, ChatGPT und ich haben uns heute Abend 1.August Reden vorgetragen. Partei wurde ausgelost. Ergebnisse waren grossartig!

I'm living in Switzerland for a long time, but am not a Swiss citizen (reason for me basically lying in Dutch law as I would have to abandon my EU/NL citizenship which is a step too far for me) and I do feel very part of Swiss society.
Not a huge fan of Swiss music though, but today (Swiss National Day) it fits. I can relate a lot with the lyrics of Trauffers "Heiterefahne" (bascially a love song to Switzerland and that he never wants to live somewhere else).
