I mentioned grabbing the Goatblood CD today for #BandcampFriday, but here's one final post with links to the rest of my purchases today - as usual, the genres are a wild mix. Some singles, some EPs, some new releases, some from a couple years back, and genres ranging from electronica to rap to grind to punk/post-punk. And mind you, I don't buy ANYTHING (or recommend anything here) lightly. I make sure I love it, and I will actually listen to it.

For this week's #GrindayFriday, a strange, cool new find-- MORBIER DANGER from
Chavornay, Switzerland. They're some very cheese-based deathgrind. Morbier Danger have a new EP that came out a few days ago, but this one is 'Briescard Destin', their LP from 2024. Really solid, tight, catchy riffy spots and dynamics on this one. Their new EP is great, and worth a listen, too. 🧀

Have a really cool #MusicWomenWednesday this week. I literally discovered Switzerland's SUN COUSTO a few minutes ago. They have an album 'Imaginary Girls' coming out next month and they're kinda lo-fi and sound a bit like an all-female Sebadoh with some other twee mixed in.

It's catchy and weird and I love it.

Great find today, maybe I'm late to this party since it looks like they've been around since 2014, but Nasty Rumours are from Switzerland and play some GREAT catchy 70s style punk/power pop kinda like the Briefs (and you all know how obsessed with THEM I am).

I'm super picky about punk, but this Nasty Rumours record 'Bloody Hell What a Pity' from 2022 straight up RIPS all the way THROUGH. Haven't heard the rest of their stuff, that's up next.
