It definitely feels a lot weird to say I enjoyed Launder and Swirlies on election night. I mean, I did, but everyone was checking the results and that definitely put a pall over things. It was a good show and everyone seemed committed to carrying on. I have to remind myself regularly that it's ok to still enjoy things but to also actively resist being caught by the skeletal hand of apathy.

I just discovered that, back in 2010, I wrote the immortal line "It's tough to say 'Richard Nixon' with a mouthful of toilet water."
