It analyzes your metrics, offers real-time feedback, and even tailors insights to your goals. Is this the future of fitness, or just another way for tech to tell me I'm out of form?

  3. Just 20 laps today but even that is is great for me. It’s been a struggle the last few days, fighting off traumatic flashbacks, panic spirals and negative thoughts - physically exhausting. Getting out, meeting people helps.

Don’t take your thyroid for granted. It’s a gland that produces a base hormone which impacts everything from immunity to menstruation to weight to pain tolerance to mental health.

  4. You do you. Please love your body, as it is. I’d hate for you to get the wrong ideas about health, age or physical activity because of my #SwimLife updates.

  5. I post #SwimLife updates to hold myself accountable to the routine. My health issues have hit my motivation, confidence & ability to do things. It is a positive act for me to say something positive. My updates are not to brag or shame anyone not living the same kind of life.

  6. After a double attack of COVID and due to natural ageing, I have some health conditions. I’m managing them as best I can. Swimming works for me (physically, logistically, financially). I’m not saying it’s the only way, just my way right now. #SwimLife

  8. 1 & 2 mean my progress (averaging 40 laps in under an hour) is not impressive. It’s the healthy normal for someone my age (based on medical advice). If you are find this unattainable, please get a health check. The pandemic highlighted the value of health & immunity. #SwimLife

  9. I’m getting some impressed reactions to my recent #SwimLife updates so I want to clarify some things.

  10. Swimming after a week. 40 laps in 50 minutes. The hardest thing is holding the rhythm in a life that seems hellbent on wrecking it. #SwimLife

  11. What’s an island girl without water? Mad hungry after but I pulled off 42 laps in 55 minutes. #SwimLife

  12. Back home back home back home the water soooo good. 40 laps in 50 minutes. Swimming reminds me of the difference between acidity pangs & hunger. And right now I’m hungry like I haven’t been all year. #SwimLife

  13. Today was just right for a swim. The sun wasn’t glaring, it wasn’t too chilly, the water wasn’t too cold and the pool wasn’t crowded. 34 laps in 44 minutes, no stress. #SwimLife

  14. 30 laps in 32 minutes! And the water was cold today. #swimlife #swimming

  15. Today I broke the 30 lap barrier. I was doing a steady minimum back in Jan 2020 even on some hard days. The pandemic took so much from me & COVID ravaged my strength twice this year. I’m so happy for today - 30 laps in 45 minutes. #SwimLife

  16. The water is the only place on the planet that doesn’t attack me for existing, that makes room for me in the universe, whete my body is not imperfect, where I’m not flattened by lashing out & abuse & manipulation. I am so grateful for water. #SwimLife #Swim

  17. What a great swim! I ate 4 hours before & I’m amazed at how much more energy I had, more limber I was. 26 laps today, no gasping for breath, no shivering in the water. #SwimLife

  18. Today, my body feels so good in the water. Yesterday was bad, so bad because of hangover. Ugh, I’m never drinking or eating fancy cheese again. It’s just not worth it to feel like hell in the water. #SwimLife

  19. Swimmer culture is complimenting a total stranger on their grace with “Nice stroke” and splashing off before they take off their glasses so you can’t see their reaction. #SwimLife

  20. Are there some foods that exhaust the body on injecting them? It feels like my body is struggling to process last night’s lavish meal + alcohol and is exhausted in the process. #SwimLife today is only 12 laps.

  21. I just pushed myself past my before-pandemic-wouldn't-bat-an-eyelid minimum in the swimming pool. And I feel like Jake Peralta #Brooklyn99, like I should stand on a chair & sing I AM THE CHAMPIONNN MY FRIENDS NO TIME FOR LOSERS. #SwimLife

  22. I feel like a bigger person after I swim. It’s muscles that have been stretched out but with the soothing massage of water rather than the break-it-down brutality of land activities. And endorphins, hmm. #Swimming #SwimLife

  23. I swam 22 laps! And I also discovered an inefficiency & how to remedy it which means I’m going to get even better! There’s no high sweeter than a good workout endorphin high. #swimmer #SwimLife

  24. What a great day to be a swimmer in Mumbai! The temperature was perfect. Traffic moved. I got to the pool to find them holding back for checks but they cleared in a few minutes. #SwimLife #swimming

  25. Gonna be entering the pool an exact hour after my last meal. I bet when I get out, I’ll be ravening for more food. #SwimLife
