Mary Annie De Burgh Burt was born in 1874, London. She became one of the Queen Victoria’s Jubilee Institute for nurses as a Health Visitor. She had been a member of the NUWSS. Sister Mary joined the Scottish women’s Hospital.
On 28th October 1915 Sister Mary and a unit of women left for Salonika. She had travelled with the French Expeditionary Force from France to Serbia and then to Salonika. #WW1 #SWH
