De horror - we hebben er weer een nieuw fenomeen bij:
Swatting is overgewaaid uit Amerika. Er wordt een valse melding gemaakt van een levensgevaarlijke situatie zoals een bommelding of gijzeling. Doel is om daarmee een SWAT-team, een arrestatieteam, naar een onschuldig slachtoffer te sturen en die hiermee te intimideren.

This is a #travestyOfJustice. This #British guy made a fake call to a US #terrorism hotline with the intention of "#swatting" a fellow #gamer in America. The #SWATteam actually showed up and shot the intended target in the face resulting in permenant disfigurement. The #UK court sentenced him to 2mo in jail, and £1000 in compensation to the victim. That's nothing. That's not even a slap on the wrist for the lifelong damages he caused.

A MESSAGE to kids.
It gets better.
As you get older and wiser you instinctively get better at swatting flies and #mosquitoes with your hands. You think that #swatting them is tough and you need to engage bizarre techniques to get them, this is false, once you reach a certain age you just know where the mosquito will be in 3D space and you deal with it without really thinking to hard about it.
No flyswat. No sprays.
Oh and #bullies become #insuranceBrokers — same difference.
