Scum villain seems to be about popular media authorship. Writing a popular novel requires you to bend to the desires of the masses at the expense of good story telling, and authors will write crap that sells rather than good fiction because they have to eat.
Without the profit motive, many works would have fewer loopholes and be more indicative of the authors need for expression.
Also, the worst haters of a work actually love it, or they would have dropped it long ago.

Hello, I'm Mary! I'm a 27yo who is trying to get back into the social media space. I've been jumping around different sites for the past 10 years and I want to build a little home in the Fediverse sharing my love for queer Asian-inspired stories.

As for my history, I was on Wattpad for a few years before moving to AO3. As I got into web development, I decided to make a website my digital homespace for all of my weeb stuff (mostly fanfiction and analysis). I have been reading a lot about the Fediverse and FINALLY decided to take the plunge and made this account.

The fandoms I'm currently into are #AceAttorney, #SVSSS, #2ha, #SasakiToMiyano, and #HiranoToKagiura. I have played all games (including Investigations) except the Great Ace Attorney and crossovers. I read all of the Scum Villain novel b4 the official English so I'm getting through that (vol. 4 left!). I'm up to date in SSMY and KGHR and they're one of my favorite stories!!! I have other favorites here and there but these are the ones that I want to find mutuals to share with :).
