I'm very excited about the possibilities of the Mega-Polis #blender plugin that @klixto has been working on. It uses the blender node plugin #Sverchok to bring in and manipulate #GIS data in blender. Already it can utilize #whiteboxtools and #pandas. Can't wait to play with it. @comcloudway Just because Blender wasn't made with parametric modelling in mind, doesn't mean it isn't proper #CAD
I think #BlenderBIM and #Sverchok are very interesting projects, that extend working with Blender into the parametric modelling space

The idea that Blender is well suited to parametric design and IFC/BIM workflows seems almost funny yet Blender provides a platform for parametric add-on #Sverchok to run alongside @BlenderBIM.
Designers can lean into this while still having the core Blender tools.

First test, with #sverchok, no doc no tuto, it takes me a little hour to understand the workflow, and it's pretty funny 😌
Procedural cable, so it's not the most awesome cable ever made ^^
I think about mixing workflow with animation node, sverchok and other node based workflow on blender, I think it can be a very good alternative to Houdini for some things.
