A new study shows that a sleeping pill can reduce the levels of Alzheimer’s proteins in the brain. The suvorexant improves sleep quality and enhances the brain’s ability to clear amyloid plaques. The study suggests sleep medications could slow down or prevent Alzheimer’s disease.
