Do you mean you're staying overnight in Frankfurt ?

I now do that on my longer trips, when anyway I would have to go on the previous day and the conference starts late-ish. E.g., I recently did that on a #Grenoble - #Harrogate (north of #Leeds) trip, stayed overnight in Lille on one way (starting later than I'd have had to do if flying directly), taking my Eurostar and arriving on time for 1st lecture at noon, and then stopping 1 night in Paris on the way back (of which I took advantage for a short day of discussion with a collaborator).
