Wonderful! We had special visitors this season. #birds 🐦 They came and blessed our maize garden, and without asking permission they enjoyed the first taste of our corns/maize. 😄

It was great to see nature enjoying nature. A small reminder that our harvest is shared with many living things around us.

By the way, our maize is now more than ready. We are still planning what to do with it.

Please, we did not say we don't know what to do with it! 😂

Another type of farming to me and my colleagues

This was our first time seeing a hydroponic fodder unit.

They showed us chambers where plants are grown without soil. It was interesting to learn that the system waters plants automatically through small pipes and can also control temperature using an AC system that brings air inside.

It was a very interesting learning experience for us.

We now have 76 healthy jackfruit trees ready to be shared in church yards and 4 schools in Kyankwanzi District we had aimed for 120 but some didn’t survive during germination, the remaining will still support #EcoFriendly actions, #TreePlanting and fight against #HiddenHunger as part of our #SustainableProjects in #Kyankwanzi for #FoodSecurity and #ClimateAction very soon we shall be planting our trees #UgandaEcoYouthsNetwork .

We cleared the space where all the dead tomatoes were and now we’ve planted green peppers from donated seeds by a great man Steven Bossa this is how we #FightHunger and take real action on #SustainableProjects in our community through #EcoFriendlyFarming because every small step counts in ending #HiddenHunger and building #FoodSecurity together as we turn challenges into green opportunities and grow hope from the soil with #GreenPepperRevolution leading the way toward real #GrassrootsSolution

We had an exciting experience visiting the Singa football club! Initially, we weren't a full team, so we had to recruit four more friends to join us. Despite being undermanned, we pulled off a surprising win! What made the experience even more memorable was when the club asked us to share our knowledge on #sustainableprojects #EcoFriendly #GreenInitiatives with them. We're thrilled to have had the opportunity to showcase our work and can't wait to go back and collaborate with them again ..
