Survivor 49 – Final Tribal – December 17, 2025

Savannah not only added herself to the group of incredible women who have successfully won 4 immunity idols in one season, but she also took home a cool million and the title of SOLE SURVIVOR. But it wasn’t without a battle to the end: Blue Sophie breaking her Tres Leches alliance and making Savannah and Rizo battle in fire and an unbelievable jury questioning.

I doubt I’ll ever play Survivor, but if I did I see a lot of my personality in Rizo

I was rooting for him the whole game, the way he played his idol was absolute cinema.

Really excited to watch him play in 50.

Mixed feelings on #Survivor49 as a whole. Aside from a snake bite, the pre-merge was a snooze fest. Post-merge was strong but so much of it spoiled by knowing Rizo/Sav go far. Without that knowledge, overcoming a 7-3 numbers disadvantage would've hit different. Now, bring on 50!

Disappointed we didn't get to see how Rizo would've fared with the jury. He played a great/innovative strategic game but did a lot of it from the shadows. Could he have sold it & how would it have been received? (looked like jury was rooting for him at fire)

Savannah is a fitting outlier. She played a badass game. Not perfect by any means. She wasn't universally liked but she was respected. From the merge on, she was the biggest target and dodged bullet after bullet. Played with an intensity we don't often see.

Survivor juries don't tend to value challenge wins. Going back to the start, they've generally awarded strategic (Rich>Kelly) & social (Tina>Colby) players over physical ones. Had me nervous for Sav vs more socially (Soph)/strategically (Sage) adept players
