I’m really loving the working LCARS interface, ship view, and system/sector navigation maps. It’s very well thought out and executed. I’m already emotionally-invested in the story and characters, but now I’m the one in the hot-seat and this just-the-right-amount in-universe interface empowers that while still feeling like a familiar Survival/Strategy game.

When you transition to a new sector, you get to listen to personal logs of select officers, voiced by the original actors of course, commenting on the current situation and choices you’ve made. Tuvok is extra sassy. Tom Paris is noticeably more sarcastic, by a good 15%. They’re both dragging Neelix through the mud here.

Just got #AcrossTheUnknown (the new #StarTrekVoyager game that came out this spring) with the Captain’s Bundle. I’m pleased that the standard difficulty is #SurvivalMode but it also includes a disturbingly-tempting #YearsOfHellMode
