Thankyou to all the mob who welcomed the rest of us to join. Big appreciation to all the community folk around me who I saw just quietly showing up today and pitching in to making it a great day.
Also big thanks for all those distributing ice, ice creams, cool drinks and other cool stuff as it was truly blooody hot today and every cool drink helped!

For folx in Melbourne/Naarm, there's a Naarm Invasion Day Protest at Parliament House of Victoria, Spring St Melbourne, on Wurundjeri and Boon Warring Lands.
"We are calling on members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and our supporters to stand with us on Invasion Day, an annual Day of Protest. We will stand together and march together as our Elders have for the last 87 years this January 26 to protest the ongoing colonial violence on our people."
The annual Belgrave Survival Day event will be held this year on 21 February.
It will be at Bill Borthwick Park, 65 Best St, Belgrave, VIC, Wurundjeri Country at 2pm – 7pm.
"Belgrave Survival Day is an annual community event that celebrates the survival, strength, and culture of First Nations peoples. Held on Wurundjeri Country in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges, this family friendly gathering offers music, storytelling, food, and connection in the spirit of truth-telling and respect.
"We’ve chosen to hold this event in February, reflecting our stance that January 26 is not the date to celebrate.

If so, the YABUN festival is on again this year at 10am to 7pm at Victoria Park in Camperdown (opposite Broadway Shopping Centre).
Having gone last year, I strongly recommend it.
