#Palantir wants this to sound good somehow, like the nation will magically reunite, if we're all in the fight togther. The author of this particular point has obviously never served in any branch of the United States #military, and probably never will. However, Palatir is involved with the Isreali military, and #Isreal DOES require all young adults to serve.
State #surveillance will ultimately lead to no one being excused from military service, even for bone spurs, unless they can afford to buy their way out, of course.
And when did big tech start having a say in who goes to war? Is it too late to stop the fusion of Palantir and the American war machine?

"Hochul, a Democrat, told reporters the exact details of the policy are not clear but it would contain 'common-sense exemptions' for health, cultural or religious reasons. Many people concerned about #COVID19 and #AirPollution routinely wear masks on the subway.
"Hochul said she was in talks with lawmakers on potentially crafting a bill.
"At at news conference in Albany, the governor said she was moved to act after 'a group donning masks took over a subway car, scaring riders and chanting things about Hitler and wiping out Jews' on Monday night.
"It was not clear exactly what incident she was referring to, but it could have been a conflation of different episodes related to pro-#Palestinian #demonstrations that day in #UnionSquarePark.

And in a classic bit of 'securitisation' we are told via a sticker on the door, this is for the staff & our safety.

The #surveillancesociety is like a budget version of #orwell... run on excel spreadsheets & baking off when the threat of #lawyers is aired.
That the DfE is trying to silence then is no real surprise... but its still shocking that this (rather than engagement with the views/criticisms) is the strategy adopted.
Though not named here I have at least one good friend (and active unionist) who I'm sure also has their own excel spreadsheet & file.

#BWI #airport will lessen your hassle of getting on a plane in return for your agreeing (you actually have no choice) to #facialrecognition - they scan your license into the db - "check" verify your #identity - which is BS. The claim is that they do not keep this profile, but of course they do - they profile at most airports in the US, and the data goes upstream. The #surveillancesociety has been here for a very long time folks.
