Surrey City Council want to declare a federal state of emergency regarding the level of extortion related crimes in the area.

There is something in the news every day related to local extortion cases in Surrey, British Columbia. The mayor has asked for a helicopter to help in the fight of these criminals.
I'm not a subject matter expert in this field to comment but certainly something needs to be done.

We found all kinds of #DrugAbuse items like syringes on our street this morning here in #SurreyBC #BritishColumbia
I walked into the local police station to report it. No officers were available but they provided me with a "clean up crew" dispatch number.
Just prior to moving into this neighbourhood there would often be dead bodies found in the park due to #drugoverdoses - the situation is improving at a snails pace but going in the right direction.

I walked into the local police station to report it. No officers were available but they provided me with a "clean up crew" dispatch number.
Just prior to moving into this neighbourhood there would often be dead bodies found in the park due to #drugoverdoses - the situation is improving at a snails pace but going in the right direction.
