I admire surfers. When I take my glasses off, the world isn't rosy, it's extremely out of focus. I tried surfing in 1969. No glasses and a humongous plank for a board. I couldn't see the waves coming and I got tired of getting whacked in the head with a tree. I stuck to body surfing.

Modelling has changed and improved a lot. Mostly due to more powerful computers allowing more brute force analysis. The math tools really haven't changed that much. Early commercial modelling included programs like #Surfer decades ago and used #Kriging, (#Gaussian peocess regression) of geostatistical data. Most current geospatial modelling uses this technique, often enhanced with #BayesianDataAnalysis (read the book by that name). So now the table is mostly set. 5/ -

I was so hopeful. But for now going back to #gtkwave I'm sad though, because surfer is able to do very simple things like select all the signals at a level and add them to the viewer, whereas gtkwave seems to fight you at every step of the way.
Maybe I need to roll back to a tagged version and rebuild or something. #ghdl #vhdl
