20 years ago I used to play a lot of Supreme Commander with my little brother. It's an RTS, kinda like C&C, but with really massive armies.
We are happy to have found :BlobhajHeart: Beyond all reasons :BlobhajHeart: as a true sequel to the game. And the best part: it's open source.

I'm finishing up #SupremeCommander 2, only a couple of levels left, neat RTS with bonker size battles, and okay story, though one of the moment that left me speechless was the appearance of this fire breathing Dinosaur, it was so random

Also, I wish the transports worked similar to how they work in #SupremeCommander. Each plane seems to carry only one unit. While you can build a ferry route by alternating between load, move and unload commands and setting it on repeat, it still takes a while to transport a tank column. Unless you have an amphibious/hover assault unit securing the beachhead, it's probably going to end badly.

I've had a bout of nostalgia for the original campaigns of Supreme Commander (early 2007) but playing the base game in 2024 isn't a fun experience after having mostly played the standalone expansion Forged Alliance (late 2007). Since both games are really close, I was wondering if anyone took the time to import Supreme Commander campaign maps in Forged Alliance.
It turns out a community effort did it, even though my initial delve into Forged Alliance Forever (2011) was a little rough around the edges. To help anyone else make the most of this awesome endeavor, I wrote a little something.

I really liked the original Supreme Commander and have not yet seen another game like it.

Hi everyone, bit of a quick #introduction, been interested in #gaming and #games since the Sinclair Spectrum.
Top games probably #Morrowind #SupremeCommander (make sure to check out the FaF community), #Civilization #Halo #Quake #Doom #TotarWar #Elite. Mainly play on #PC or #Xbox, but own a #PS5, #NintendoSwitch etc.
