  21. 🎁HBT Jay S. Siegel who turns 65 today. At Princeton Univ. he developed a keen interest in #stereochemistry manifested in the co-authorship of the legendary JACS paper “La Coupe du Roi and its Relevance to Stereochemistry” (DOI: 10.1021/ja00344a003). Today he is Senior Advisor at the Univ. of Hong Kong. Aside from his stereochemistry expertise Jay is known for his #corannulene chemistry and for his contributions to #supramolecular science.

  32. #introduction post. I have a training in #chemical #synthesis and have learned that harnessing #biochemical methods leads to fabulous #Science. My research group at University of Warwick and collaborators have worked across plant hormones, cardiovascular pharmacology, using T7 and bacteriophage in a small team to uncover new targets for current therapeutics. I teach (bio)organic and #supramolecular chemistry go.warwick.ac.uk/marshgroup for details
