Just finished #Supraland . Recommended!
Although it severely lacks cohesion otherwise, exceptionally consistent puzzle design makes Supraland extremely compelling.

Bellissima presa per il culo dell'autore di #Supraland (stupendo #videogame , se sei un videogamer serio devi assolutamente provarlo!) che fa vedere come i prezzi delle versioni "GOTY" o "premium-Nerd" et similia, siano tutte prese per i fondelli di mkt per spillare più soldi

Segnalo questa bellissimo articolo di filosofia del #videogaming che immagina e coltiva il creatore/sviluppatore della serie #Supraland
L'analisi che porta avanti è profondissima, IMHO, e raramente si legge roba di questo livello, spiegata con così tanta chiarezza da parte di uno sviluppatore
Soprattutto quando spiega il concetto di "varietà" dell'interazione come fondamento nel videogaming evoluto secondo me tocca un punto davvero chiave e interessante

That being said, the combat system definitely needs some work: fighting enemies is easily the most boring part of the game right now! Exploring the dungeon itself with all its deadly traps and hidden shortcuts was an absolute joy though! This is a game you’ve probably missed – and you really shouldn’t!

@Snowden Non esiste più "costretto", non nel 2023.
Se proprio devo, ci sono le VM al limite, ma mai più mi metterò a installare Winzoz direttamente su MIO HW senza sotto un layer di SW libero, manco morto, sarebbe umiliante. Lo facevo per i giochi fino a qualche anno fa, ma ore c'è #Proton 😃 quindi manco più quello devo fare e #Skyrim o #Portal o #Fallout4 o #CyberPunk2077 o #Supraland ci gioco direttamente da Linux 😉

@Sampei @brozu Batocera mai provata, mi sa che la provo (la volevo provare pure per Raspberrypi). Per i bambini è più facile da piccoli, io l'ho fatta giocare con me tanto a #supraland siamo appassionati ormai :-); ma prima i #platform e le basi, bisogna prima imparare a camminare per poter correre ;-) Poi il gusto del #retro* della #pixel art si può instillare anche ai bambini, IMHO, basta saperlo spiegare con livelli di nerdismo graduale ;-) Del resto oggi hanno borse e astucci #Minecraft

#Supraland feels like the developer first watched and followed a "How to make an FPS in Unreal" tutorial and then decided to make a whole 12-hour game from the resulting project. I find it amusing.

@sebsauvage J'ai essayé #Supraland hier soir : ça m'a fait penser que si tu as aimé ce jeu, tu devrais aimer #Tinykin. Ce n'est pas du tout le même type de jeu, on dirige un petit bonhomme scientifique dans un monde géant façon Chérie j'ai rétréci les gosses, et on contrôle des petites bestioles qui nous assistent grâce à leurs capacité. Mais il y a plein de pièces et de machins à ramasser, des recoins secrets, une DA plutôt chouette.
