With all the hard work @theropologist has been doing to get Beige up to date, and to keep it running smoothly, to keep the party 🪩 going...
I was able to tip :kofi: a little bit again to support all the efforts, and to keep the party going strong :drinky:.Remember that Mastodon/the FediVerse :fedi: is run by many hard working enthusiasts. Because of their knowledge, dedication, and hard work, the FediVerse is as strong as it is now, with many instances to choose from.
These instances don't run for free... The admins have to spend money to run them, besides spending their valuable time to keep it all up and running, and properly moderated.When you can, look at the instance info, and see if there is a way to support them!
I am definitely not rich, but, whenever I am able, I try to tip the server with a coffee :ablobcatcoffee:. I wish to keep beige up and running, and I support that effort when I can! Please try to do the same for your instance! :ablobcatangel:

If you can, don't forget to support them financially if and as you are able. Where would we be without them?
There will be information on how and where to do that on your own instance info, or a quick question to a moderator will give you the lowdown, I'm sure.

Hello everyone! I'm just wanting to post a quick reminder to all of you, especially those of you who are just joining Cubhub, that this place belongs to YOU. There's no advertising, no algorithm: just the content that you want to see.
With that said, it's really important to remember that this place cannot exist without your support. If you can, please chip in a few dollars to CubHub's Patreon. This instance (like most instances) relies heavily on donations to cover its operating costs. Running a social web service like Cubhub costs a lot of money - as more people join, the costs of things like hosting and DDOS protection get more expensive, and during a surge of new joins (as we see somewhat often when Xitter hiccups), those costs can also surge unexpectedly. If you can't/won't use Patreon, please check with @Rusty for other ways to donate.
The more funding Cubhub has available to make improvements to their services and cover those unexpected expenses, the better it is for ALL of us. Let's all pull together and keep this place as strong and healthy as we can <3

I was made aware of this link via an Announcement on the Mastodon instance website.
This announcement wasn't visible in the app I use on mobile (or at least is wasn't obvious). So do pop onto your instance's own web interface now and then to see announcements!
