Just a quick reminder to folks, that the instances that host all of our content cost people actual money to maintain and run, quite apart from the owners', volunteers' and moderators' time and energy. If you can, don't forget to support them financially if and as you are able. Where would we be without them?
There will be information on how and where to do that on your own instance info, or a quick question to a moderator will give you the lowdown, I'm sure.

@bigbeardedbookseller Absolutely this. I hope people realise that if a product you're using is free then you are the product.
If everyone just chipped in 50p every month there'd be more than enough to pay for any server charges, and it'd be a bargain for ad free, algorithm free, hate free content. -
I have #ModerationExperience from a web forum. I left when my request to join the #AdminTeam was denied and framed as "we need you where you are" when I was getting zero love for managing a recurring interactive project. The project died when I left.
I have already done the #SupportYourInstance thing and I'll keep doing it. I have #StudentDebt so I need a #PayJob (which is why I throw money at my #instance - I don't have the skills/spoons to help in other ways).
