Ich, wie so viele andere, möchte ein dezentrales, Grassrootsartiges fediverse beibehalten.
Ein social(!) media das vom Austausch/Engagement lebt - und nicht von (kommerzieller) Nützlichkeit/Followerzahlen/....
Eine soziale Plattform zum Infoaustausch + sich gegenseitig unterstützen, die wenigstens versucht Hass/Trolle fernzuhalten.
Die einzigen die hier(durch) Geld "verdienen" sollten sind die Admins. #supportyouradmin -

Hello everyone! I'm just wanting to post a quick reminder to all of you, especially those of you who are just joining Cubhub, that this place belongs to YOU. There's no advertising, no algorithm: just the content that you want to see.
With that said, it's really important to remember that this place cannot exist without your support. If you can, please chip in a few dollars to CubHub's Patreon. This instance (like most instances) relies heavily on donations to cover its operating costs. Running a social web service like Cubhub costs a lot of money - as more people join, the costs of things like hosting and DDOS protection get more expensive, and during a surge of new joins (as we see somewhat often when Xitter hiccups), those costs can also surge unexpectedly. If you can't/won't use Patreon, please check with @Rusty for other ways to donate.
The more funding Cubhub has available to make improvements to their services and cover those unexpected expenses, the better it is for ALL of us. Let's all pull together and keep this place as strong and healthy as we can <3

They don't get paid and the #TwitterMigration has increased the cost of hosting a server. Every time EM does something moronic, there's a sudden influx.
Be kind, be patient. Your server may have another slowdown as we're all online and more people are signing up. Give your admin some time.
