It sits in an unstable middle ground between Keith Jarrett's harmonic resolution and Supersilent's noise-edge dissolution, holding swing and unresolved tension at the same time. Some serious fun to witness #Supersilent for the first time in quite some time. Sounding as fresh as ever. There's just no other like them. The only surprise was that Helge Sten now looks like a full-time prepper who just took a break from building his hidden cabin in the woods, to make some noise wearing camo pants. It's rather fitting.

I’m watching #DiscoBiscuits on Nugs and I’ve always enjoyed and respected what they’ve created but I’d love to hear a group approach bigger stage improvisation like Autechre structures their sets. There’s a group called #Supersilent that does this sound pretty successfully but they’re pretty singular in what they produce. I’d love to hear more takes on this style improvisation.
