Работая с аналитикой, мы часто сталкиваемся с одной и той же проблемой: данные есть, но исследовать их неудобно. Представим типичную ситуацию. Есть таблица с десятками колонок и миллионами строк. Нужно понять, почему изменился какой-то показатель — например, выручка или конверсия. Обычно это превращается в цепочку SQL-запросов: сначала агрегируем данные по стране, потом по городу, потом по конкретному сегменту пользователей и тд. Если таких гипотез несколько, количество запросов быстро растёт с геометрической прогрессией. Каждый новый уровень детализации требует отдельного SQL. В какой-то момент хочется просто кликнуть по графику и мгновенно увидеть более детальные данные. Без написания нового запроса. Именно здесь на помощь приходят BI-инструменты. Один из самых популярных open-source инструментов для аналитики — Apache Superset .

Привет, Хабр! Я Дмитрий Смотров, тружусь бэкендером в Astra Linux в команде продукта ACM — микросервисной системе, разворачиваемой на клиентских мощностях. Мы позволяем удаленно управлять клиентской инфраструктурой. Сначала я разрабатывал функциональность снятия инвентаризации и удаленного выполнения команд установки и удаления ПО, но в один момент моя жизнь резко изменилась. На проекте возникла необходимость в функциональности красивой и настраиваемой отчетности, в чем я увидел возможность проверить себя в новой для себя области. Я вызвался разобраться и помочь продукту стать еще лучше. Под катом расскажу о том, с какими трудностями столкнулся в процессе, как я их решал и что в итоге получилось. Приятного чтения :)

Однажды в студеную зимнюю пору из-за морей, из-за океанов прилетело известие: лицензии не выдаем, тех.поддержку не оказываем, а можем и вовсе отключить все системы. В компании погоревали, но делать нечего, решили переходить на новые системы, да такие, чтобы не смогли в любой момент их превратить в тыкву. И стали смотреть в сторону open-sourсe решений.
