I can’t help but feel “Superman: Legacy” is starting to become more of the “cinematic universe” vehicle than a “Superman solo film” I have been waiting for. I mean: do we really need other superheroes in the film? Can’t we focus on Superman and his extended family (Lois, the Daily Planet journalists, Kents) before delving into the greater DCU? So, although I am a big fan of the casting choices, I’m not a fan of including these characters in the film. Plus, announcing them before the actors for Ma and Pa Kent, Jimmy Olsen or Lex Luthor is a bit… lame? Desperate?

Mam przy ich okazji trochę wrażenie, że nadchodzący „Superman: Legacy” staje się bardziej reklamówką nowego kinowego uniwersum niż filmem skupionym na Supermanie, a to na taki czekałem. No bo czy na serio potrzebni są inni superbohaterowie w tym filmie? Nie możemy się skupić na Supermanie i jego rodzince (Lois, redakcji Daily Planet, Kentach), zanim zagłębimy się w większy świat DC?
Tak że tak: fanem doboru aktorów jestem, ale ich obecności w filmie chyba nie za bardzo. No i ogłoszenie tych nazwisk, zanim poznaliśmy aktorów, którzy zagrają Kentów, Jimmy’ְego Olsena czy Lexa Luthora jest takie trochę… słabe? Desperackie?
