Finally actually played #Superhot. I'm late to the party, I know.

Fun gameplay, but all the text/edgelord story interludes need to crawl out of its own asshole. Never been more irritated at obnoxious story getting in the way of fun game. #Games

A #podcast review of #vr #superhot came up in my feed. I listened to just a few minutes when they warned of spoilers, so I paused to play it.

I mean, obvs I've heard of the #game before and I think tried it but it was too scary.

Tried again and noped right out. Creepy faceless people standing RIGHT THERE and I have to kill them? No thanks.

But heck, I'll listen to the review and see if they agreed.

And of course they did not, because the review was for #superliminal

Mixed in some SUPERHOT in today's Beat Saber session just for the fun. Well, since I played it last time, I got the Valve Index controllers with finger tracking and WOW that makes a difference! The game just uses it to detect if you grab something but grabbing stuff with your actual hand instead of a button makes it so much more fun and immersive, especially since you can actually let go of the controllers so you don't hold anything by default. Best yard sale find ever! A full Valve Index VR kit for under $200. It works great and I just spent an hour playing Superhot VR. #Superhot is one of my favorite games of all time and the VR version is totally unique and wonderful. Going to try Half Life Alyx next. Any other recommendations?

I forgot I handled #superhot chiles yesterday. So when I was using one of the several ovens at work, I could feel the burn. It was ridiculous!

Friends: if you’re playing the original #SUPERHOT card game (published by Board & Dice) and are struggling with the rules, the new version (published by Greyfox games) has *much* clearer instructions and actually changes a certain mechanic fundamentally for the better.

I still can’t beat it, mind you, but I’ll be damned if I don’t keep on trying, bullets flying and all 😅
