Absolutely. In my mind, the #1 and #2 reasons why Americans don't drink tea is that they use crappy tasteless Lipton teas, and they don't properly BOIL the tea. (As in, using just-boiled water, not boiling the tea leaves themselves. That's just cruel. XD)

Interestingly, some teas don't take to boiling water well. #YerbaMate specifically wants 60-70 or maybe at most 80°C, IIRC.

BTW, have you ever made #SunTea? It's amazingly smooth. Just put a couple teabags in a glass jug or jar and set it outside on a sunny day (if you get those, heh) for a few hours. It tastes super smooth like cold brew, but it's much, much faster to brew. Pour it over ice and enjoy.

I got some empty teabags and fill it with nice Sadaf loosleaf black tea and a couple crushed caradmom cloves, and I add Stevia in my tumbler. Absolutely heavenly.

Lemonade popsicles sound like da frickin' BOMB about now! Reminds me of home-made popsickles when I was a kid. :D

My current summer activity is making #SunTea. Just put some tea in a big jar and leave it outside for a few hours.

Add some sweetener of choice, and it makes crazy smooooth iced tea. :)

  3. Pretty good #Saturday:

    1. Didn't want to heat up the house so I made #suntea in a #masonjar on the patio. Didn't want to turn the oven on either, so I set my plate and the frozen meal out on the hot patio as well, covered. #SolarCooking!

    2. Went to bed when I was tired instead of pushing to stay up later. Woke up #rested for a perfect #sunrise.

    3. Repotted a bunch of #sorrel which is becoming a regular additive to my #fresh green salads.
