Ensi viikon aikataulu taas tehty ja tuntuupa ihanalta 🥰 Aikataulutan tulevan viikon aina sunnuntaisin. Sunnuntaipäivän aikataulutan toki myös, eli lykkään kalenteriin tunnin aikataulutusta varten. 😄

Jokaisella värillä/kategorialla on merkitys, esim. keltaiset ovat palavereja. Kun tehtäviä on viikossa satoja ja päälle tapaamiset, time blocking -metodi on ainoa toimiva. Muuten olisin yrittäjänä töissä 24/7 ja kaikki olisi yhtä kaaosta.

On se vaan mukavaa, kun voi aikatauluttaa lomatekemisenkin kivasti kalenteriin. Time blocking workflowni toimii seuraavasti:

1. Lisää kaikki oleellinen tekeminen tehtäviksi (Obsidian, Sunsama)
2. Tehtäville kategoria, suoritusaika ja päiväys (Sunsama)
3. Aikatauluta kalenteriin (Sunsama)
4. Aamuisin: Tarkista agenda

Tiedän, että monia ahdistaa tällainen, mutta muista, että ihmiset ovat erilaisia. Minua ahdistaa "avaruudessa lilluminen", eli jos asiat eivät ole ylhäällä ja aikataulutettu. Kontrolli omaan ajan käyttöön ei vie vapautta vaan lisää sitä.

I absolutely love Sunsama and how it takes care of your valuable time. There are no priority labels other than time.

From time blocking apps I have used first Sunsama, then Akiflow, then TickTick. All of them have pros and cons, but now that I have returned to Sunsama after one year I've seen it's improved since I last tried it.

I forgot how good it feels to actually FOCUS and see your productivity increase over time.

Hey #postdoc or other early career folks:

Do you have any advice or online resources for project management (e.g. building & organizing a new lab, coordinating work, documentation, etc.)? Documents? Trainings?

I'm really enjoying my #Sunsama and #Clickup software but I'm struggling with the "meta" information like what tasks a lab lead will need to consider.

Bonus points for resources with #neurodivergent / #ADHD focus. ❤️

Do any writers out there use project management software like #asana ? I've been researching how to get more structured in my #timemanagement & have decided to commit to #sunsama as a daily program. I spent the last month trying #Sunsama out & it really helps me.

I chose Sunsama because it's pleasant to look at, though not as pretty as some apps I also looked at like #Zinnia. Unlike some of the pretty apps, it does integrate with #outlook and #gmail & #googlecalendar @googlecalendar

Looking for yet another #todo app. I have gone through already dozens of them. My path in todo apps: #Todoist -> #Tweek -> #Sunsama -> #Akiflow. Now I found #TickTick. Used it 5 years ago and then it was a "cheap Todoist clone". Nowadays it has all the features I need! Akiflow is almost perfect but lack of subtasks and a proper mobile app is going to annoy the hell out of me.

I don't know what's wrong with me in this regard, I'm always looking to optimize everything and go thoroughly each option pros and cons... I've been wondering I may be on the autism spectrum side.
