  1. “THEY INVENTED THE TERRIFYING FICTION OF A BURNING HELL STRICTLY TO MAKE SURE YOU NEVER DRAG THE REAL DEMONS OUT OF THEIR MANSIONS. THE PRIEST DOES NOT WANT TO SAVE YOUR SOUL; HE IS A HEAVILY ARMED PSYCHOLOGICAL WARDEN PAID BY THE ELITE TO ENSURE THE STARVING SLAVES NEVER REALIZE THEY OUTNUMBER THE MASTERS A THOUSAND TO ONE.” - #VOLTAIRE

  6. #SundayThoughts I got sick for a few days. Likely from work stress + making the course. It was nice to just do some virtual chats with people I know. Playing some games. Doing some nothing. Watching the Blender Suzanne Award entries and pwnisher "Gauntlet of the Gods" submissions (some really fun and cool ones!).

Making my second course has been busy for me. I'm hoping to be done by October, just so I can have a "real break" before a bunch of other things I have planned for the new year.

    1. Got rid of a huge wolf spider in our backyard.
    2. Recorded and editing two more course videos, finally stopped procrastinating those.
    3. Toddler has been sleeping better as of late, letting us all get more rest.

  16. Nice that Denise O'Sullivan doesn't want Jean Phillipe Mateta to be the only professional athlete that tucks their shirt into their shorts, and pulls them up navel-high (or beyond).

  20. Sometimes the words we leave unspoken are the most important ones we should have said.
Silence isn’t always golden — sometimes it’s civic rust.

  23. I love how God prepared a lake of fire for the angels, you know the ones who saw the Throne, walked in the divine presence, and decided to nope out on Him and the whole thing.

    But you, puny human?

You go to a silent place *that gets thrown into the same lake of fire* because you were born into ignorance, got showed a thousand different religions that were all as plausible-sounding as each other, and then failed to guess which one was true.

That's a God of Cruelty, not love.

  30. Success is not the key to happiness.
Happiness is the key to success.
Love what you do, and success will follow.

  35. #SundayThoughts recently, a 3D artist I know (half-)joked that they see why people have babies: as an excuse to not get anything done. It came off cynical to me, but it made me think about fatherhood.

Despite the whirlwind that is parenting, when it takes me away from art or coding or whatever, I haven't found anything I've done in my life so far to be more fulfilling. Being a present father is no easy or short-term job, and I commend all those that are, including all my role models. 1/2

  40. Spent longer gettign the FOSS version complete. Would have been FINE for 3 major versions as it was but it wasn't how I wanted.
NOW it's tight, super fast and light weight.
When Dashboards is done I can then flip to the commercial additions (realtime updates, per endpoint realtime config etc)...idea is for launch the FOSS engine is complete and I have AT LEAST 3 'packs' for specific Magento, Wordpress and ASP.NET (generally) which have integrations allowing management of specific site data an dendpoints (and analytics).
So you just fire up stylobot and it'll remove malicious bots instantly and give a rich view (reports etc) of YOUR site data.
£5/month each. To get it going (and let me start tuning on real data - optional, you can enable sending anonymous fingerpritns to improve the system).
