Big crowd out at #Sundays4Safety at the Skerritt Roundabout this morning. The reception was so POSITIVE. Unbelievable support from passers-by and motorists. Heaps of new faces. All wanting to send solidarity and support to the man who was injured at this spot a fortnight ago. All demanding better, safer roads for Galway. We deserve better from our council

#Sundays4Safety is happening this Sunday at Skerritt Roundabout - the site of a horrible collision. This is a roundabout beside a University, with NO pedestrian crossings. And it's not unique in Galway.

This should be a Salthill Cycleway. It's terrible for the poor drivers sitting in traffic and dangerous for those of us on bikes. But Galway City Council - full of "keen cycling advocates" 👀👀 backed #nochange last year. Not even a trial. 😃🤯 #Sundays4Safety

We counted 33 illegally parked cars in Salthill Village in the tiniest space of time. That's €2,640 in fines.🤯🤯
