Google oficjalnie rozpoczęło już wstępny trening nowej architektury, określając go mianem „najbardziej ambitnego w historii firmy”.

Obecnie flagowy model Gemini 3.5 Pro pozostaje w fazie zamkniętych testów z partnerami i zadebiutuje dopiero wtedy, gdy będzie w pełni gotowy.

Zanim to nastąpi, Google próbuje utrzymać uwagę rynku i deweloperów lżejszymi narzędziami. Firma ogłosiła przejście na niemal miesięczny cykl wydawniczy i wprowadziła do oferty mniejsze warianty, takie jak Gemini 3.6 Flash, 3.5 Flash-Lite oraz wyspecjalizowany model 3.5 Flash Cyber.

Mają one zapewnić biznesowi szybsze i tańsze przetwarzanie danych, podczas gdy inżynierowie Google DeepMind pracują nad odzyskaniem pozycji lidera w kategorii najpotężniejszych systemów AI.

Google udostępnia Gemini 3.6 Flash i 3.5 Flash-Lite.

  12. CounterPunch.org | How (And Why) AI is Eroding Democracy in the US by Tom Valovic

AI generated summary, Read the full article for complete information.

In this article Tom Valovic argues that the Trump‑era “Stargate” program—a $500 billion public‑private partnership with giants such as OpenAI, Microsoft, Nvidia and Oracle—marks a concerted push to flood the United States with AI data centers and surveillance technology, effectively turning the nation into a technocratic, authoritarian apparatus. He points out that the initiative, framed as a race to out‑pace China, actually embeds military‑grade monitoring (e.g., constant police supervision, camera footage from “Flock” devices) and is being embraced by both Republican and Democratic state leaders, including Massachusetts’ Gov. Maura Healey, who is rolling out AI tools across statewide government. Valovic warns that AI’s promise of a “single source of truth” threatens to make the technology a gatekeeper of information, supplanting traditional search and eroding public agency, while also driving hidden data‑center construction that strains local resources. Nonetheless, he highlights growing citizen resistance to the data‑center boom and the upcoming midterm elections as a potential turning point to curb the AI juggernaut and restore democratic oversight.

  15. bing news | Berkshire Hathaway Expands Alphabet (GOOGL) Stake to 58M Shares as Ackman Exits

AI generated summary, Read the full article for complete information.

Berkshire Hathaway dramatically expanded its stake in Alphabet to about 58 million shares—worth roughly $16.6 billion—bringing the tech giant into its top‑five holdings; the purchase was timed after a 6% dip that left Alphabet trading at a forward P/E of 25×, below the S&P 500 average, and was supported by strong Q1 2026 results, including $109.9 billion in revenue (up 21.8% YoY), EPS of $5.11 versus a $2.63 consensus, a 63% surge in Google Cloud, and a contracted cloud backlog exceeding $460 billion. Simultaneously, Pershing Square’s Bill Ackman sold more than 95% of his Alphabet position and shifted the proceeds into Microsoft, which has fallen about 20% YTD; Ackman highlights Microsoft’s AI business growing 123% YoY to a $37 billion annual run rate, a 40% rise in Azure, and a $627 billion commercial performance obligation, alongside its roughly 27% equity stake in OpenAI. The contrasting moves illustrate two AI‑focused investment theses: Berkshire betting on Google’s infrastructure and guaranteed cloud revenue, and Ackman backing Microsoft’s enterprise software dominance and strategic OpenAI partnership.

Jeszcze gorzej wypada zaufanie do samego asystenta programowania.

Koszmar Vibe Codingu i wypalenie inżynierów
