De ha már Balaton és nosztalgia.

Akkor ez egy ma négy éves kép.

#FlashbackFriday
Summer 2024, I encountered these giant, towering #sunflowers 🌻😃🌻
None of the sunflowers grew as tall, this year.

One of the sumptuous summer flavors from my youth was homemade lemon ice cream, made at my grandmother's. She put the ingredients, including juice from like a dozen fresh lemons, into the 1-gallon manual freezer.

My brother and I would add ice and salt around the metal container and crank that that handle like our life depended on it.

This summer, I'm trying to replicate the tart flavor in a modern automatic machine. Last try (shown here) was too sweet, so I've got a new recipe for this afternoon.

I'll get it right or go into a sugar coma trying!!

If I don't go out (I'd still go out later for a walk/photos and to restock the wood in front of the house from the main storage):
anyone want to see a video of a slow walk in nature from summer? (have to edit..lol)

Remember the days when we strolled the seashore? Childhood friends we splashed in cool waters, found seashells, and built sandcastles. Those days have passed, but we still have fond memories.
