I finished #2000AD's collected #LukeKirby book, #SummerMagic, that I started a month ago. It ended a little sad, perhaps similar to the feeling one gets after watching or reading #WatershipDown. I'll talk about it in the pod.

All 7 of my hives have made themselves enough honey to get through the coming winter. Today I harvested 4 boxes of honey after getting up at 5 AM to wander about the yard as the sun came up. It's dry and hot but so much life and beauty and hope remains here. What a glorious way to spend Lughnasadh.

I don't have all of the herbs that she mentions here growing in my area. But I do have some of them and many others that would work as well. This gives me inspiration to create my own drinks and foods from the abundance around me.
