There is not a tremendous amount of team play in this game between the Rockets and Trail Blazers. Once the first shot of a set happens, it's on, baby.

"I can hit that 3! No I can't."

"I can make this acrobatic shot under the basket with 3 huge guys towering over me! No I can't."

"I can get out on this fast break and slam the ball through the hoop with defenders catching up to me! No I can't."

Tied at 13 with 1:55 to go in the 1st.

The Pelicans, 0-3 in summer league play, after losing to the Trail Blazers on Tuesday, face the 3-0 Thunder on Wednesday, and the 1-2 Pacers on Friday.

Why they are scheduled to play 1 more summer league game than the 2-1 Trail Blazers is not clear to me. They play the 0-3 Rockets on Thursday.

93-87 Summer League win for the Trail Blazers over the winless Pelicans. Yang Hansen has his own "media row" and rooting squad.

Rayan Rupert played well. Sidy got himself ejected, but was playing well up 'til then. Caleb Love will mature a lot this season.

It will be an interesting season for Portland.
