This is my #mom. I had many, many #art teachers. She was my first. She used to make #beautiful #blackandwhite #inkdrawings and #spoton #sumiink (Japanese #brush art). Now she does not #draw as much anymore. Occasionaly we go on a #urbansketching trip togheter, though. Here we're #drawing toghether and she says: 'oh, that is #artistic #freedom ... or somthing like that'.

Everything from setting up the ink and brush, breathing through the exercise, performing the act, and finally cleaning the brushes and hanging them up for the next day. I've gotten a series of sleeved art books to store them. Each is dated using a date stamp.
