@stephenserjeant Thanks for this. I found it hard to believe she would have done this, if it was as outrageous as some hypocrite journos pretend. She doesn't seem the type. It would be great if some of the UK press barons had half her decency and work ethic.

I know some people have complained that Sue Gray earns more than the PM, but remember that's only true if you consider his base salary.
If you add in all the PM's sponsorship deals, Sue Gray is paid considerably less than he is.

Given that the #Tories have seldom been backwards at leaking reports in advance or making early (but faulty) accusations, one cannot help but think the reason that #OliverDowden is refusing to say whether he thinks that #SueGray broke #civilservice guidelines in taking a job with #KierStarmer is because they've actually found no evidence at all & are preparing to back-track on earlier accusations...
Of course, there may be other explanations, but reticence is not a standard #Tory trait.
