Just installed #OpenBSD on my #Thinkpad #X60 - a very old #32bit laptop. Works fine, still usable for everything except web browsing. OpenBSD has no #firefox or #Chromium in the official repos. For modern web browsing #Dillo or #Netsurf just can't handle the job. I use #suckless #surf web browser but it crashes very often :blobugh:

What’s your feeling on Google #keep #notion Or, do you have a preference for sharing a text or checkbox-type list?
In a perfect full GNU/#linux world, I would want the list to be in #dmenu (#suckless software), but idk about the file sharing aspect.
I don’t like Resilio. It just hasn’t worked out reliably when I tried. Plus, it is a bit of a drag being proprietary. Dropbox functions better anyway, so it remains a little lingering tech question of mine: what is the best free (FOSS) alternative?

Будучи поклонником suckless философии , минимализма и простоты в программном обеспечении, я не нахожу простых и маленьких VoIP решений. Программ связанных с VoIP очень много. Но это либо колоссальные системы для построения SIP -based экосистемы, либо что-то из мира WebRTC . Особняком выделяю Mumble -- популярное решение среди геймеров: централизованный сервер, указываешь его адрес и вот уже слышишь в наушниках другого человека. А нет ли чего ещё попроще?

My Alpine install is complete.
Surprising absolutely no one that has known me for a while, I am running dwm.
What an amazing distro. I think I am probably going to move to Alpine full-time.

My first suspect for a #login not supporting -- would be something with a 1980s history pre-dating standard #getopt, such as Solaris, which is ironic given that #inetutils has its only -- present in conditionally compiled code targetting Solaris.
#FreeBSD, #NetBSD, and #OpenBSD login all use getopt(), pervasive in these worlds for decades, as do the util-linux login (used by Debian et al.), and the #Illumos and #BusyBox logins.
#suckless login supports -- via ARGBEGIN.

Yeah, it's a pity that there's no way to get to #WebKit through #Qt anymore. Somewhat ironic, since Webkit was forked from from #Konqueror, which was a #KDE project built on Qt.
There's also #Suckless Surf as an über-minimalistic browser (not too bad as an #SSB, honestly), but it's not a serious contender for daily driving. I don't even daily drive #LuaKit, and I love vim-style programs.

12 Months of Gentoo. Was a success, I hit a couple of random speed bumps along the way but nothing too dramatic.

Any suggestion about Gentoo Linux?
I know Gentoo, but haven't used it that much.Is Gentoo can be reliable for low spec's machine as long the program code isn't sucks right?
I want to use an old machine (2C/2T CPU with 3GB of RAM) to become reliable in my own production but still keep relevant to the newest certain software that I use.
I'm, okay to wait for the compilation as long it doesn't take for hours of time

I've submitted a patch to #FreeBSD #Ports to update the #suckless presentation tool "#sent" to version 1.

The weird thing is that when I test it with `port test` I get a couple of messages like this one:

Any ideas?
