Check out this huge agave bloom that I saw today. I wish I had caught the plant from another angle with more sky than house in the background. Maybe tomorrow.

Somehow I've always assumed that succulent plants were a "they're from somewhere else" thing, but I discovered that we have our own native varieties in the pacific northwest.
I'm pretty sure these are broadleaf stonecrop / sedum spathulifolium. They were growing on the side of a rock on the island in Deception Pass.

This week’s #PlantMail potted up. I also repotted my Echeveria Benimusume, which I posted earlier. That one I’d been dreading doing.
Then we went for a drive around town to charge my car battery, which keeps dying, and of course stopped for the requisite Saturday Bunnings sausage sanga.
- Graptoveria Pink Rose was love at first sight.
- Euphorbia Lactea Cristata looks much less variegated than in the sales photo so I’ve left the “Variegata” out of the name.
- Echeveria Madiba was leaf grown from one with bumps (not by me) but not really showing any true signs of bumps at this stage.

I don’t think I’ve ever managed to properly centre a plant in a pot!
