well, #Succesion #SuccesionHBO ended exactly perfectly, exactly the way it was seemingly always going to. my face eggs and I enjoyed it very much.
also absolutely loved Roman’s last little rant in the conference room. sums up the entire series perfectly. distilled it all right down to those couple lines.

Very intense. Roman in complete meltdown, and self destruct mode. Logan's brother: great speech. Shiv: outsmarts her brothers for now. Four Logan women on the front row: Wife, most recent mistress, ex wife, ex mistress, Greg as shameless as always, Tom exhausted and vulnerable. And the swede? Still smiling and being blunt with the president elect: Privacy, Pussy, Pasta. -
Speaking as a white person, it has struck me how white the HBO series Succession is. Yeah, there is the minor character here and there that doesn't fit the mold. But I think it would have been cool if instead of the "Striking Viking" Alexander Skarsgard, a character like a business-savvy cutthroat Queen Latifah shook the Roys up and bought them out, welcoming them to the new world and demoralizing them in the process. I can think of a host of other POC scenarios.
