Cannot help to marvel at the amazing photos on my phone that captured Tyrone Wright’s brilliance, oh so easily.
‘Rone’, as he’s affectionately known, is an accomplished Melbourne based artist. He has created amazing street art and large scale mural works for years.
His recent exhibition in #Melbs was designed to remind (perhaps educate) us, of the forgotten, mid-century, working-class life.
The subject matter in this recent exhibition (11 rooms, with differing themes; job roles / professions), featured European women migrants of the 1950-60’s who were largely behind the city's booming manufacturing industries.
I loved the props, music and of course the poignant candid (natural) appearance of the young women making their way in their new world in #melbourne #Australia back in the day.

It is titled; “Inner Demons”.
The #realism of this, is superb.
What’s most striking for me is the neon pink demons that overlay the woman’s face.
For mine, it signifies that we all battle with our demons. Of course.
However, opposed to being portrayed in ominous darker colours (blacks / greys)… SOME demons - these represented in pink, exist for a ‘greater’ experiential purpose.
That is, for the sole purpose of providing an opportunity for positive and beneficial, life-defining personal growth.

#Melbourne-based artist Juzpop has created a new piece of street art - and I just love it!
It is titled; “Inner Demons”.
The #realism of this, is superb.
What’s most striking for me is the neon pink demons that overlay the woman’s face.
For mine, it signifies that we all battle with our demons. Of course.
However, opposed to being portrayed in ominous darker colours (blacks / greys)… SOME demons - these represented in pink, exist for a ‘greater’ experiential purpose.
That is, for the sole purpose of providing an opportunity for positive and beneficial, life-defining personal growth.

This collection I believe is known as ‘THE COLBINABBIN FARMERS' PICNIC’, which depicts the locals of the district coming together back in the day, for an annual chance to relax and unwind!
I marvelled at these for some time. And must admit, was taken back to a different time to those we experience today.
