So not being a fan of bugs, they seem to find me! This was at my motel in Hervey Bay, Queensland. I think its a rhinoceros beetle, and it was huge. I wanted a tropical garden. In Jan 2019, My husband built the frame for me. The second photo is Jan 2021. The hanging flower is a Brugmansia. I now have an irrigation system cos I got sick of holding a hose 😬 Its pretty weed free, which is good, because I’m I’m not going in there as I’m terrified of big spiders.
