#TulsiAssad WORKS FOR #VladTheInvader. Her job, for far longer than #BenedictDonald has been in office, has been TO OBSTRUCT U.S. INTERVENTIONS in countries of strategic interest to the Kremlin.
DONALD TRUMP is a Russian ASSET--and not a willing one. He would have MUCH rather lived out the remainder of his days as a dissolute playboy cosplaying a billionaire and getting his ego stroked on The Apprentice as though he actually WAS a successful businessman, and not an incompetent trust fund baby who had bankrupted six companies.
But the REASON he was still getting to cosplay a billionaire was because the Kremlin--via the Russian mob...errr, "DeutscheBank"--had made him an offer he couldn't refuse, after those six bankruptcies had left no bank that HAD TO TURN A PROFIT willing to deal with him anymore. And so when they called in that favor, he ran for President.
But Donald Trump is ALSO--as we see daily--A MALIGNANT NARCISSIST, so for the last decade hes been POSITIVELY SEETHING at how Vlad makes him kiss his feet and play his beta boy, to keep from ending his life IN PRISON. So now, when he's discovered that MAGA is actually a durable political movement, when hes fully subjugated #TodaysGOP, when he has an army of brownshirt #Sturmtrumpers behind him, and billions scammed from #craptocurrency and the public coffers at his feet--and Vlad is still getting his ASS handed to him in Ukraine--he's starting to show a little independence. And that giant ego is again unchained, atop the most powerful military the world has ever known.
And he's eager to flex his muscles, and show everybody how tough he is.
So poor Tulsi, slaving patiently away to keep the U.S. from interfering in places her boss doesn't want us, has become a real thorn in his side. And so today, its her turn to go under the bus. #ETTD
Can't say as I'm gonna miss her.

At the individual level, obviously, it's good to see servicemembers unwilling to be part of #AgolfShitler's campaign of dismantling the Constitution we swear our Oath to, at home, and of committing industrial-scale war crimes abroad.
But the Administration's focus on solid recruiting numbers reveals what needs to be a more concerning truth: that at a SOCIETAL level, what were seeing here is a systematic strategy to purge our military of TROOPS, as well as senior leaders, whose loyalty IS to the Constitution, AND REPLACE THEM with new recruits from the ranks of America's fascists, white supremacists, apocalyptic 'Christian' nationalists, redpilled misogynists, and other committed #Sturmtrumpers, whose loyalty is to der #Trumpenfuhrer and his goal of transforming America from a self-critical democracy into a blindly loyal, Christofascist Gilead.
That point needs not to be missed. And the fact that this is reaching down into GUARD units whose governors will need to refuse federalization and employ them to repel fascist federal invasions should worry us as well.

More states need to do this, with a window for folks to rediscover their conscience and resign (as long as they're not personally implicated in crimes against the Constitution or #CrimesAgainstHumanity).

I'm actually getting a bit of a chuckle out of this: the campus police can thus officially report that they were on hand in case anything got OUT OF hand...but they're otherwise content to just hang out for a while as the courageous protesters ensure (1) the fucking #ICEtapo thugs get NO sleep tonight, and (2) Hilton's OTHER guests presumably give them an earful so they'll understand the cost of quartering #Sturmtrumpers sent to terrorize their neighbors.

I need to periodically acknowledge to dilemma lurking behind my (only partially) facetious use of the #WhatWouldRobespierreDo hashtag: YES, I absolutely believe we are witnessing the "long train of abuses and usurpations" that "evinces a design to reduce [We, the People'] under absolute despotism," of which America's founders spoke in our Declaration of Independence--which ultimately had to be resolved through political violence against a tyrannical government. And yes, this modern instance is being driven by our #AmericanOligarchs, as part of a #BillionairesInsurgency that aims to render all government & religious authority ACCOUNTABLE TO THEM, instead of the other way around: a combination that truly does evoke [the better parts of] the legacy of Robespierre in response.
But--as others were pointing out yesterday--our contemplation of the role which force may at some point have to play in the preservation of our liberty must also be balanced by the understanding that--being violent people steeped in fantasies that we were intent on doing the same TO THEM under Obama or Biden-- #AgolfShitler and his #Sturmtrumpers are SALIVATING AT the prospect of organized political violence that would allow them at least A FIG LEAF of justification to invoke the Insurrection Act. If popular force does ultimately prove necessary, it must either be timed in support of some other action (like the military executing its oath "to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies, foreign AND DOMESTIC") that would render the Insurrection Act moot, or triggered by regime action that makes it clear we're going to face that level of state violence anyhow, WHETHER OR NOT we fight back.
In the meantime, we're better off denying them the excuse they seek, and finding other, more creative ways to fight back....
