Discovered this free DAW plugin manager. I've been looking for something like this for a while. I am pleased to say it works really well and clawed back 26GB of space on my internal drive!
It doesn't delete the plugin, but offloads them to another location that you specify (if you like) I moved mine to an external drive. Thursday #DailyTracks : Did #Presonus #StudioOne jus bite the dust ? Not really. #Fender has owned the shop for several years. They just put on a fresh coat O’ paint, added some new widgets and liberally sprinkled with Fender dust . I bailed when Studio One went to a subscription model several years prior. Thanks but no. Truth be told if a DAW does what you need it to do most of these shenanigans won’t change that. Just freeze your copy and backup version in case they screw with the licensing

Ist jede US-Company böse? We don't know yet. Es steht zu befürchten, dass die allermeisten Companies unter einer Präsidentenanordnung einknicken würden, eine Lizenz zu wiederrufen oder einen Service abzuschalten.
Aber - wir wissen es noch nicht. Der Impact auf meinen Alltag wäre sehr überschaubar. Nicht Prio 1. Nur Bedenkenswert.

Had a mini PC with #Windows that I never used, so I installed #Linux #Mint on it too. Now all my computers run either Linux, or #MacOS (mostly Linux).
And so I played a bit with the #Presonus #StudioOne demo, and #Reaper. StudioOne wouldn't have any audio output at all, unless I installed an audio script from the #UbuntuStudio distro first.
Reaper worked all by itself without issues. The engineering at Reaper always had me impressed. The thing is only 12 MB.

I came across an old recording I made of a band today. I recorded it on CoolEditPro. That dates it some. Saved to a CD, in a .cda format.
I converted to .wav and imported to SI.
Unfortunately, alot of clipping. Tried altering all sorts. Bitrate, sample rate.
Even installed CoolEditPro and loaded into that. Same problem.
I think it became corrupt at recording to CD
No saved files of original recording ( my bad techniques back in the early days of music recording). Shame. Great Band. -
