I made this small charcoal drawing quite a few years ago. The woman who bought it died. It was then put up in an estate auction. It didn't sell. The drawing landed in a thrift store where it sat collecting dust. A fellow in San Diego saw it and bought it for a few dollars. He looked me up, inquiring about it.

Another new necklace this morning. I used semi-opaque and transparent glass in pink, orange-red, yellow, purple, violet, green and various shades of blue to make these chunky drop-shaped beads. 19 inches long. I'm still having fun playing with my new toy, a two-part, hand-held brass glass press mold for making hexagonal beads. This eclectic piece features sculptural "beads" I made at the torch, all with applied silver leaf, an enameled copper pendant, and more pendants of hammered bronze with concentric designs. A short clip from the studio this evening. I'm adding a strand of marbled opaque charcoal glass to a bead of marbled opaque sandstone glass. Then I'll make another in the reverse combination, and so on.
