Technology is helping quiet students participate more confidently in class. Tools like polls, chats, discussion boards, and AI learning apps give students new ways to share ideas without the pressure of speaking in front of everyone. Modern classrooms are becoming more inclusive, allowing every student to have a voice and build confidence through digital learning.

I'm updating my guide on how international schools can better prepare students for #University, and I'd love input from #HigherEd folks.
Thank you if you added to the data on #InternationalSchool students' struggles when transferring to university.
If you have first-year students wrapping up the year, could you share this survey? I would love to include #StudentVoice

Crowdsourced School Improvement is a powerful modern trend. Using digital platforms like Google Forms or Padlet, schools can collect ideas from students, teachers, and parents. This builds student voice, collaboration, and digital skills. When schools improve with their community—not just for them—innovation becomes real and meaningful.

🎙️ Student-led podcasting is a powerful way to build communication skills in K–12 classrooms. Students plan, speak, interview, and share ideas with a real audience. This supports digital literacy, creativity, and confidence—key skills for today’s world. Instead of just consuming content, students become creators. A simple mic can create big growth! 🎧

If you believe that empowering students to ask their own questions is one of the most powerful ways to cultivate critical thinking, curiosity, and problem solving...
Then...
Consider the upcoming conference: Teaching Students to Ask Their Own Questions: Best Practices in the Question Formulation Technique (QFT).
A great opportunity for educators, coaches, and leaders committed to deeper learning.

What if public education became a space for solutions? I foresee engaged students - you?
"“Oftentimes I hear older people calling us [kids] creative, right? If we’re called creative, why can’t we use that creativity to solve some of the world’s biggest problems?” he asked. “Unfortunately, there are barriers for K-12 [students] to network.”

I used to attend a university for a diploma in computer engineering. After a few semesters, I decided to stop studying there. I needed to withdraw. However, what they call "student peers"—I am not sure what the term is in English—were being reductionist and maximalist regarding the official documents, stating that I had already agreed to and chosen the university and the study program in the online application form. This is not fair. I believe it is important to treat each person as an individual, as a whole person, rather than merely considering what I have done to prevent me from leaving. I wasn't there to fulfill their collectivist culture, believing I should prioritize the university's name and dignity at the cost of my own. At the moment, I want to take a break from writing this, as my mind is troubled by thoughts of my past, including the emotional abuse I experienced from the university staff. Unfair, right?
